Seller's description

A truly exceptional interpretation of the legendary Martin HD-28, this 2023 Martin Custom Shop HD-28 pairs the iconic voice and construction of the HD-28 with the striking beauty of Cocobolo. Built for the player and collector who appreciates exceptional tonewoods, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, this Custom Shop example offers a level of character and individuality that sets it apart from a standard production HD-28. The Cocobolo appointments give the guitar a rich, luxurious appearance, with naturally dramatic grain and deep tonal variation throughout the instrument. Sonically, it delivers the powerful projection, warmth, and unmistakable low-end presence associated with the HD-28, while offering the clarity, complexity, and responsiveness expected from a carefully selected Custom Shop build. From its exceptional tonewood selection to its meticulous construction, this HD-28 represents the best of Martin's traditional dreadnought design with a distinctly custom character. It is equally at home as a professional performance instrument or as a standout addition to a serious Martin collection.
