Up for sale, a 2021 Fender Custom Shop Stamp Collection Telecaster in mint condition, complete with its original hardshell case, CoA, and hangtags. Dealer sourced and never privately owned, this Custom Shop Tele comes from Fender CEO Andy Mooney’s Imagine Collection. This collection blends Mooney’s love for guitars and stamp collecting into a series of nearly 200 instruments, showcasing roughly 100 stamps per instrument for each of the world’s 195 nations. This particular Tele features stamps from Northern Rhodesia, a British protectorate territory in South Africa that lasted from 1911 to 1964 when it gained independence from the United Kingdom and took on its current name, Zambia. Andy’s daughter Rose designed a simple flower graphic for the neckplate, a symbol of peace that adorns all 195 Teles in the series.Other features include Fender ClassicGear tuners, a satin-finished Modern C neck profile, six-saddle bridge with block saddles, and Yosemite single coil pickups. These hand-crafted pickups feature a unique blend of Alnico 4 and 5 magnets, delivering a dynamic and articulate sound with potent output and, naturally, plenty of classic Tele twang. This Stamp Collection Telecaster weighs 8lbs 3oz, professionally dialed in beyond factory spec here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
