Seller's description

These are cool! Fairly recent model (2019). Here is the lowdown from Gibson: "The Gibson SG Modern breaks new ground by merging the iconic SG silhouette with Les Paul construction techniques, creating a hybrid instrument that pushes traditional boundaries. This isn’t simply another “solid guitar” – it’s a contemporary reimagining that incorporates player-requested updates whilst maintaining the essence of Gibson’s legendary designs. Built with an AA maple top over a mahogany back in classic Les Paul fashion, the SG Modern maintains the familiar SG shape and scarf joint construction. This wood combination provides the resonance and sustain that has made Gibson guitars the choice of countless musicians. The genuine ebony fingerboard features 24 frets with a compound radius design, paired with an asymmetrical slim taper neck profile that ensures smooth, fast access right up to the highest registers. The electronics package centres around a pair of calibrated BurstBucker Pro Alnico V humbuckers that pack serious punch. Push-pull controls add versatility by switching between full humbucker tones and single coil P90 sounds – both pickup styles that Gibson pioneered and that have shaped multiple musical genres across generations. Premium appointments include genuine mother of pearl inlays, reliable Grover Rotomatic tuners, and clear top hat control knobs that complete this modern take on a classic design." A couple of small nicks here and there, but overall in good condition and a very good price too.. Made in the USA SN 132390361. Weight: 3.2kgs
