Seller's description

The 2018 Martin D-45 Re-Imagined represents the pinnacle of Martin’s modern dreadnought lineup, and this example is about as close to new as you’re likely to find on the pre-owned market! The Re-Imagined series brought the flagship models back in line with their classic heritage, pairing vintage-leaning details with Martin’s most refined contemporary build quality. This D-45 is built around a beautifully grained Sitka spruce top with aging toner, supported by forward-shifted, scalloped X-bracing. East Indian rosewood back and sides supply that familiar depth and harmonic richness, complemented by full Style 45 abalone purfling across the top, back and sides. Antique white binding frames everything with a clean, classic edge, while the abalone rosette and Style 45 hexagon fingerboard inlays reinforce that unmistakable high-end Martin aesthetic. The genuine mahogany neck features Martin’s Modified Low Oval profile with the High-Performance Taper, offering a modern, comfortable feel that still works beautifully with the traditional Martin scale length. An ebony fingerboard and matching ebony bridge keep things crisp and responsive, with a bone nut and gold open-gear tuners rounding out the spec. The gloss body finish, faux tortoise guard and original hardshell case complete the package. Tonally, it’s everything a top-tier D-45 should be: a deep, piano-like low end, brilliant but controlled highs and a broad, open midrange that fills the room with ease. This one is in genuinely as-new condition, showing no meaningful signs of use and presenting exactly as you’d expect from a lightly handled, one-owner guitar. A superb opportunity for anyone seeking a modern D-45 at its very best. Visually stunning, sonically expansive and in excellent condition throughout.
