Every once in a while a guitar comes along that makes grown adults whisper, "No way..." Then they pick it up, realize it's made almost entirely of rosewood, has a Bigsby, an F-hole carved into the top, Greg Fessler's signature on the headstock, and suddenly they're standing in the corner Googling, "Can you survive on ramen until retirement?" This isn't your average Telecaster. This isn't even your above-average Telecaster. This is the Telecaster that other Telecasters secretly follow on Instagram. If George Harrison and Ron Burgundy designed a Tele together after spending a weekend in a woodshop... this would probably be the result. It's ridiculously elegant, unapologetically cool, and somehow manages to look both vintage and futuristic at the same time. The grain in this rosewood is absolutely mesmerizing. You'll find yourself staring at it between songs wondering if you should be playing it... or framing it. Then you hit one chord through those hand-wound '67 pickups... ...and suddenly all those practical life decisions you've made seem wildly overrated. Specs Model: Rosewood Thinline Telecaster NOS Masterbuilt by Greg Fessler Finish: Natural NOS Satin Body: Solid Rosewood Thinline With Single F-Hole Neck: Rosewood, Bolt-on Neck Profile: Mid-'60s Oval "C" .843" 1st Fret / .955" 12th Fret Fretboard: Rosewood Radius: 9.5" Frets: 9105 Nut: Bone Pickups: Hand-Wound 1967 Telecaster Single Coils Bridge: B-5 Bigsby Vibrato Controls: 1 Volume, 1 Tone, 3-Way Switch Pickguard: 3-Ply Black Tuners: Schaller Hardware: Chrome Weight: 9.0 LBS Serial #: R86202 Condition Born on May 25th, 2016 and still in collector's condition. Honestly, I'm not convinced this guitar has ever experienced anything more stressful than having someone admire it under really good lighting. The NOS finish remains exceptionally clean, the frets are pristine, the hardware shines beautifully, and the entire instrument presents exactly the way you'd hope a Greg Fessler Masterbuilt would.
