2015 Fender David Lozeau Blue Dragon Stratocaster – Limited Edition – 1 of 500 Worldwide 🐉 One of Just 500 Produced Worldwide – Fender’s David Lozeau Artist Series A particularly special Fender Stratocaster, combining one of the world’s most recognisable electric guitar designs with the extraordinary artwork of American artist David Lozeau.   Released in 2015, the Blue Dragon was limited to just 500 examples worldwide, making this a genuinely collectible Fender with a fascinating story behind it.   The David Lozeau Stratocasters were unveiled at the 2015 NAMM Show as part of an exclusive collaboration between Fender and the acclaimed artist. Four original designs were introduced, each with its own distinctive artwork, and the Blue Dragon remains one of the most visually impressive of the collection.   Lozeau’s artistic style draws inspiration from tattoo culture, Japanese mythology, Day of the Dead imagery and traditional illustration. For the Blue Dragon, he created an elaborate, flowing dragon design that wraps around the guitar’s body, combining bold black artwork with an extraordinary electric blue finish.   The detail is remarkable. The dragon’s scales, claws and flowing features cover both the front and rear of the body, while the rich blue background has an almost textured appearance beneath the gloss finish. The design changes character as the light catches it, making this a guitar that looks just as impressive displayed as it does on stage.   Another lovely detail is the original engraved David Lozeau neck plate, featuring the artist’s distinctive skull artwork and signature.
