For Sale: 2012 Fender Japan MIJ Kurt Cobain Mustang – Fiesta Red | HSC Up for sale is a 2012 Fender Japan MIJ Kurt Cobain Mustang in Fiesta Red, complete with a non-original hard-shell case. Built in Japan and inspired by the modified Mustangs Kurt Cobain used during the In Utero era, this distinctive signature model combines classic short-scale Mustang styling with a direct-mounted Seymour Duncan JB humbucker, Fender Mustang neck single-coil, Adjusto-Matic bridge, and Dynamic Vibrato. The Fiesta Red finish, tortoiseshell pickguard, and H/S pickup configuration make this one of Fender's most recognizable modern artist-signature Mustangs. Condition Excellent – 9.5/10 This guitar is exceptionally clean, showing only: Light surface scratches A few small dings from normal use The guitar is 100% original, with no cracks, breaks, repairs, or structural issues. The neck is straight and stable, and the original frets are in excellent condition with no visible wear. It plays cleanly across the fingerboard with no buzzing or dead spots.
