I am offering a Fender Custom Shop '63 Telecaster NOS from 2011, a handmade at the Fender Custom Shop in Corona, California (USA), luxury reissue model based on a 1963 vintage Telecaster with a selected alder body (total weight 3.39kg), bolt-on birdseye maple neck with 60s style oval “C” neck profile, fine ‘AAA’ rosewood fingerboard with 9.5" radius and 42mm bone nut, two Fender '63 Tele singlecoil pickups, classic 3-piece string-through-body 63 Tele bridge and high-quality Fender Vintage Style tuners in a brilliant 3-tone sunburst nitro finish with 3-ply parchment pickguard in excellent condition, including black Fender G&G deluxe hardshell case, manufacturer's papers, and professional setup with 10-gauge Elixir strings. This Fender Custom Shop '63 Telecaster NOS from 2011 is consistently based on the historical specifications of a 1963 Telecaster. The early '60s era is considered one of the most sonically balanced phases of the pre-CBS Telecaster, during which greats such as George Harrison, Pete Townshend, and Andy Summers discovered their love for the Telecaster during the “British Invasion” and helped the model achieve worldwide fame. It is precisely this feeling that has been captured here with great attention to detail.
