For Sale: 2010 Gibson Custom Shop Historic ’68 Les Paul Custom Reissue – Ebony Black Beauty | OHSC + COA Up for sale is a 2010 Gibson Custom Shop Historic ’68 Les Paul Custom Reissue in Ebony, complete with its original Gibson Custom Shop hard-shell case and Certificate of Authenticity. This Historic Reissue recreates the iconic 1968 Black Beauty with a carved maple top, mahogany body, long neck tenon, chunky ’50s neck profile, and ebony fingerboard. Its original Gibson ’57 Classic humbuckers deliver warm, articulate PAF-style tones, while the VOS nitrocellulose finish and lightly aged chrome hardware give the guitar a beautifully understated vintage appearance. At 9 lbs 6 oz, this is a substantial Les Paul Custom with the feel and character players expect from a Historic Reissue. Condition Very Good – 8.5/10 This guitar is in very good condition, showing: Light surface scratches Small dings throughout Minor cosmetic wear consistent with normal use There are no cracks, breaks, repairs, or structural issues. The neck is straight and stable, and the frets are in excellent condition with no visible wear. The guitar plays cleanly across the fingerboard with no buzzing or dead spots. Professionally inspected and set up by our in-house luthier and ready to play. The original nut has been replaced with a bone nut, and the ABR-1 bridge has also been replaced.
