Seller's description

The 2008 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Spotlight Reissue is an exceptionally uncommon take on the Les Paul formula, reviving the distinctive Spotlight design first seen in the early 1980s while adding the craftsmanship and premium materials associated with Gibson Custom Shop production. Its defining feature is the highly figured maple top separated by a broad contrasting centre section, creating an unmistakable appearance unlike almost any conventional Les Paul. Premium appointments including brown binding, gold hardware, pearloid-tipped Grover tuners and a natural-style headstock veneer complete the distinctive Spotlight aesthetic. Underneath the unusual appearance is a traditional Les Paul foundation, with a mahogany body, set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and dual-humbucker electronics delivering the sustain, power and versatility expected from a high-end Gibson. This Pre-Owned 2008 example is in Excellent condition, weighs an actual 9.6 lbs, retains all of its original hardware, and includes a hardcase.
