Seller's description

Equal parts rarity and artistry, this 2008 Gibson Custom Shop '59 Les Paul Reissue pairs two of the most coveted tonewoods on Earth—Korina and quilted maple—for a truly one-of-a-kind take on a legend. Finished in natural to showcase every ripple of that three-dimensional top, it’s the kind of guitar that stops conversations before a single note is played. But don’t let the beauty fool you—this one roars just as much as it shines, with a pair of humuckers delivering everything from warm, articulate cleans to full-throttle vintage bite.  The Korina back and neck lend a slightly lighter weight and a distinct tonal character—snappier, more open, with a touch of midrange magic all its own. The ’59 neck profile is pure comfort, chunky but refined, and exactly what you’d hope for in a reissue of this caliber. It's an exceptionally rare build from an era when the Custom Shop was quietly pushing boundaries for players and collectors alike. Includes its original case, COA, and a seat at the table of Gibson's most unique creations.
