Seller's description

2007 Ibanez AGS83B Artcore Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar – Antique Brown What a lovely one of these to find now.   This is a 2007 Ibanez AGS83B Artcore, finished in the gorgeous Antique Brown finish and featuring a beautifully figured flamed maple body. These older Artcore models offered a remarkable amount of guitar for the money when they were new, and good examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find nearly twenty years later.   This particular guitar is in exceptional condition for its age. It has clearly been very well looked after, showing only minor play wear and small cosmetic marks from careful use. The finish still presents beautifully, the flame figuring looks superb from every angle and the ornate pearl and abalone block inlays really set it apart.   We’ve just fitted a fresh set of strings, and it plays superbly. Comfortable, resonant and surprisingly versatile, this is one of those guitars that punches well above its price point.   The semi-hollow construction gives it a lively, open character with plenty of natural resonance, while the pair of Ibanez ACH humbuckers provide everything from warm, rounded cleans through to thicker blues and rock tones. The traditional twin volume and twin tone layout with three-way pickup selector gives plenty of control without overcomplicating things.   Construction is equally impressive. The body features flamed maple across the top, back and sides, paired with a three-piece maple/mahogany set neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. The Artcore DX pearl and abalone block inlays are particularly striking and give the guitar a much more expensive appearance than its price would suggest.   A genuinely lovely older Ibanez Artcore, beautifully preserved, freshly restrung and ready to enjoy.   Specification   * 2007 Ibanez AGS83B Artcore * Antique Brown finish * Semi-hollow construction * Flamed maple top, back and sides * Three-piece maple/mahogany set neck * Bound rosewood fingerboard * Artcore D
