Seller's description

Some guitars are rare because very few were made. Others become increasingly difficult to find because, over the years, original cases disappear, paperwork gets separated, hardware gets changed, instruments get gigged and modified, and truly complete examples slowly become fewer. This one somehow escaped all of that. Offered here is #09 of only 50 Fender Custom Shop Master Design ’50s Telecasters produced in 2005 from a design by Yuriy Shishkov. I purchased #09 new and have been its only owner. It has never been gigged or toured, has seen remarkably little playing time, and has spent the overwhelming majority of its life carefully preserved in its original hardshell case. More than twenty years later, virtually everything that accompanied the guitar when new remains with it. And that may be what makes this particular example most unusual. #09 of 50 This was a very small Fender Custom Shop Master Design project—just 50 instruments—and this guitar carries the single-digit limited-edition number 09/50. Its original Yuriy Shishkov-signed Fender Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity is dated June 20, 2005. The neck plate is stamped MGN80493. The guitar remains accompanied by the extensive Master Design materials supplied with it when new. The complete package includes: Original Fender Custom Shop hardshell case Original leather Master Design portfolio Original Yuriy Shishkov-signed Certificate of Authenticity Original Master Builder Traveler/build documentation Original design drawings and project materials Original Fender/Yuriy Shishkov builder literature Original hangtag Original case candy Original bagged accessories and accompanying materials Original Fender strap buttons, screws and felt washers Nothing has been hunted down years later to recreate a complete package. The guitar and its provenance simply stayed together. A relic that was never really worn One of the most compelling things about #09 is the contradiction between how it looks and how it
