Built by legendary Fender Master Builder Mark Kendrick, this 2005 Custom Shop '58 Stratocaster represents one of the finest levels of craftsmanship to leave the Fender Custom Shop. Kendrick's instruments are renowned for their attention to detail, exceptional build quality, and faithful interpretation of Fender's golden-era designs. Based on the iconic 1958 Stratocaster, this guitar captures everything that makes the model so enduringly popular. The lightweight body is lively and resonant and finished in period correct 3-tone sunburst Nitro, while the trio of Custom-Wound '58 Strat single-coil pickups delivers the classic Stratocaster voice- chiming highs, balanced mids, and crisp, articulate lows. The guitar is equipped with the traditional 3-way selector switch, but a 5-way is included should you want to change it for added tonal versatility. The maple neck has a beautifully comfortable late-'50s profile, small-C, much more familiar to modern Strat players who maybe like '50's specs but not the traditional  V-shaped neck. As you'd expect from a Masterbuilt instrument, the fretwork, neck carve, and overall setup come together to create an exceptionally refined playing experience. Every aspect of the guitar reflects the level of care associated with Fender's Masterbuilt programme, from the quality of the finish to the precision of the fit and hardware. It's the sort of instrument that immediately feels cohesive and responsive in the hands. Presented in excellent condition, with only minimal signs of use.
