Seller's description

A beautifully preserved early-2000s example, this 2002 PRS McCarty Hollowbody II showcases the craftsmanship, refinement, and tonal versatility that have made the model one of PRS’s most classic designs. Constructed with a fully hollow carved maple top and back over a mahogany core, the Hollowbody II delivers a rich, airy resonance with outstanding note bloom and clarity. At just a fraction of the weight of a solid-body electric, it feels incredibly comfortable on the strap or in the lap, perfect for long sessions or live sets. This example comes equipped with its original PRS Archtop humbuckers, known for their articulate, warmly voiced output and superb dynamic response. Plugged in, the guitar offers everything from jazz-friendly smoothness to crisp clean chime and expressive, harmonically rich overdrive. The wide-fat neck profile is trademark PRS and feels comfortable, rounded, and a joy to play. Cosmetically, this Hollowbody II has been very well cared for and is in near MINT condition. The original finish looks just about as new, with no major wear, repairs, or structural concerns. The top’s highly figured maple presents beautifully, and the craftsmanship and finish throughout is exactly what you’d expect from the good folks at PRS. A superbly balanced, elegant, and inspiring instrument, ideal for players seeking a lightweight, resonant hollowbody with modern precision. Original PRS hard case and paperwork included.
