For Sale: 2001 Gibson Thunderbird IV – Classic White | Ebony Fingerboard | OHSC Up for sale is a killer 2001 Gibson Thunderbird IV in Classic White, complete with its original Gibson hard-shell case. This early-2000s Thunderbird is especially striking with its Classic White finish and ebony fingerboard and has been upgraded with Lollar Thunderbird pickups, Hipshot tuners, and a Hipshot Thunderbird bridge. The original bridge and tuners are included in the case. The original pickups are not included. The nut has also been replaced. At 8 lbs 10 oz, it's a very manageable weight for a full-size Thunderbird and has been professionally set up to play exceptionally well. Condition Very Good – 8/10 This bass shows honest cosmetic wear consistent with its age, including: Scratches and dings throughout Finish wear in various areas Finish checking along the sides of the neck and throughout the bass General playwear The wear gives the Classic White finish a naturally played-in appearance without affecting the performance or structural integrity of the instrument. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs, or structural issues. The neck is straight and stable, and the original frets are in excellent condition with virtually no wear. It plays cleanly across the fingerboard with no buzzing or dead spots. Professionally inspected and set up by our in-house luthier and ready to play.
