The 1998 Gibson Les Paul Standard Double Cut in Trans Amber is a beautifully styled American-made electric guitar that combines the legendary sound of a Les Paul with a more streamlined double-cutaway body design, exceptional upper-fret access and a stunning figured flame maple top. Introduced in 1998, the Les Paul Standard Double Cut represented an exciting variation on Gibson's classic Les Paul formula. Featuring a lightweight mahogany body, carved flame maple top, set mahogany neck and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, the model offers traditional Gibson warmth and sustain alongside a noticeably different playing experience from the conventional single-cutaway Les Paul Standard. The Trans Amber finish beautifully showcases the natural figuring of the flame maple top, creating a striking appearance that changes subtly under different lighting conditions.
