For Sale: 1998 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty – Ebony | Burstbucker 2 & 3 | Gibson HSC Up for sale is a 1998 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty in Ebony, complete with a Gibson hard-shell case. This late-’90s Les Paul Custom features the classic combination of a mahogany body, carved maple top, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, pearl block inlays, multi-ply binding, gold hardware, and split-diamond headstock inlay. The guitar has been upgraded with a Gibson Burstbucker 2 in the neck position and Burstbucker 3 in the bridge, providing a versatile vintage-inspired humbucker pairing. The original pickups are not included. Condition Very Good – 8.5/10 This guitar is in very good condition, showing light scratches and some dings throughout from normal use. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs, or structural issues. The neck is straight and stable, and the frets remain in excellent condition. It has been professionally inspected and set up by our in-house luthier and plays cleanly across the fingerboard with comfortable action and no buzzing or dead spots.
