For Sale: 1997 Fender Japan CIJ MG66-66 ’66 Mustang Reissue – California Blue | Tweed HSC Up for sale is a 1997 Fender Japan CIJ MG66-66 ’66 Mustang Reissue in California Blue, complete with a non-original tweed hard-shell case. This is a great ’90s Fender Japan Mustang that captures the look, feel, and character of the classic mid-’60s design. With its 24" short scale, rosewood fingerboard, vintage 7.25" radius, traditional Mustang switching, and Dynamic Vibrato system, it delivers the unmistakable feel and sound that has made the Mustang such a favorite among players and collectors. The California Blue finish is especially striking and looks fantastic paired with the rosewood fingerboard and vintage-style appointments. Condition Very Good – 8/10 This guitar has been played and shows honest cosmetic wear consistent with its age, including: Light surface scratches Small dings throughout Some wear on the back Faded outlines and marks throughout the guitar from previously applied stickers The previous stickers have left some visible differences in the finish, which can be seen in the detailed photos.
