Reverty Used Guitars Japan — every instrument inspected, set up, and played before listing. 1991 Fender Japan ST-57L "57 Reissue" Stratocaster - Left-Handed, MIJ Fujigen A left-handed Fender Japan '57 Stratocaster reissue from the Made in Japan era, built at the Fujigen factory. Left-handed examples were produced in far smaller numbers than their right-handed counterparts, and they surface only occasionally on the used market. This example carries the serial number J030383 with the "MADE IN JAPAN" stamp at the neck end, a pencil date of 3-23-91 on the neck heel, and factory markings of "ST.57L / N325" on the heel plus "STD-57L" in the neck pocket. It wears a 2-Tone Sunburst finish with a one-piece maple neck, and shows the honest playwear of a guitar that has been used rather than stored away. == SPECIFICATIONS == - Model: ST-57L ('57 Stratocaster reissue, left-handed) - Year: 1991 (neck heel pencil date 3-23-91) - Serial: J030383 (Made in Japan) - Country of Origin: Japan - Factory: Fujigen - Color: 2-Tone Sunburst - Neck: Maple, one-piece with skunk stripe, bolt-on - Fingerboard: Maple, 21 frets - Scale: 25.5" - Pickups: Three single coils - Controls: Master Volume, Tone x2 - Switch: 5-way pickup selector - Bridge: 6-point synchronized tremolo - Weight: 3.35 kg == CONDITION == Overall: Very Good - Body: Scratches, dings and finish wear consistent with age - Neck: Straight - Frets: Approximately 60-70% remaining - Hardware: Tarnish on metal parts (vintage patina) - Note: Tremolo cavity backplate is missing All electronics function correctly and the guitar plays as intended.
