Seller's description

The Fender TL‑354 MIJ Telecaster Black is a Japanese-made vintage Telecaster from the mid-1980s, built at the FujiGen factory. Its solid alder body wears a sleek gloss black finish, maintaining the classic single-cut Telecaster silhouette. The bolt-on maple neck features a 7.25-inch radius fingerboard with 21 frets and simple black dot inlays, offering a familiar feel that mirrors the original Fender designs of that era. The neck is shaped with a comfortable C-profile, and many of these models include vintage-style Gotoh sealed tuners and a top-loader bridge with Freeflyte saddles for stable tuning and solid string response. With a standard 25.5-inch scale length, the guitar balances traditional Telecaster tension and playability, while the classic control layout—volume, tone, and three-way selector—keeps operation straightforward. Tone comes from two Alnico single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge positions, delivering the bright, articulate sound Telecasters are known for. A single-ply pickguard and side-mounted input jack round out the vintage aesthetic, combining traditional design with the precise build quality typical of mid-1980s Japanese Fender instruments.
