1986 Kramer JK-6000 V-Shaped Electric Guitar – Japan – Red with Gigbag 1986 Kramer JK-6000 – Japanese-Made V-Shaped Guitar – ESP Built – Red – Floyd Rose Tremolo The Kramer JK-6000 is a rare and distinctive V-shaped electric guitar from the mid-1980s, produced in Japan by ESPfor Kramer. Built as the Japanese-market counterpart to the USA Vanguard model, the JK-6000 combines an aggressive Flying V-inspired design with the high-quality construction associated with ESP-built instruments of the era. With its striking red finish, 22-fret maple neck, and Floyd Rose-style locking tremolo, this is a particularly cool example of the more unusual Japanese Kramer models from the 1980s. Specifications Brand: Kramer Model: JK-6000 Year: 1986 Serial Number: A21685 Body Style: V-shaped Finish: Red Scale Length: 25.5" Nut Width: 1.65" Neck Depth: .893"–.936" (1st–12th fret) Frets: 22 Neck: Maple Tremolo: Floyd Rose-style locking tremolo Weight: 7 lbs 14 oz Country of Origin: Japan Builder: ESP Condition This guitar is in very good vintage condition and has aged extremely well. There are some light paint chips on the horns, along with minor signs of use, but it remains remarkably clean overall for a guitar from 1986. The cosmetic wear is consistent with its age and does not detract from its striking appearance. The neck is straight and comfortable, and the guitar has been professionally set up with smooth, low action for excellent feel and playability. Includes Tremolo arm Gigbag A rare opportunity to own one of the more unusual Japanese-built Kramers of the 1980s. The combination of the V-shaped design, ESP construction, red finish, and locking tremolo makes the JK-6000 a particularly compelling instrument for collectors and players who appreciate unique vintage Japanese guitars.
