Seller's description

The Rickenbacker 320 Jetglo is a solid-body electric guitar introduced in the mid‑1970s as part of Rickenbacker’s 300 series. Featuring a sleek chambered maple body in Jetglo—a deep gloss black finish—the instrument is typically paired with a set maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard adorned with white dot inlays. Early neck profiles follow a round “C” shape, and most guitars from the 1980s era carry a 20.75″ scale and about a 1.63″ nut width, balancing compact playability with familiar Rick ergonomics. Its tonal character is defined by three Rickenbacker Hi‑Gain single‑coil pickups, wired with independent volume and tone controls along with a blend control and a three-way selector switch for mixing the neck and bridge pickup voices. Paired with a roller bridge and the iconic R logo tailpiece, the guitar offers clear, bright articulation with vintage chime and fullness. Designs often include a split‑tier white Plexiglas pickguard and nickel hardware, consistent with the period aesthetic and functional layout. In practice, the 320 Jetglo delivers classic Rickenbacker sound: punchy mids, glassy highs, and defined attack ideal for rhythm work and jangly lead lines. Variants from the late 1970s through the 1990s remain highly sought after for their distinctive tone and relatively lightweight build. While notable documentation is sparse, verified examples from reputable dealers and vintage shops help confirm its specifications and authenticity.
