Reverty Used Guitars Japan — every instrument inspected, set up, and played before listing. 1985-86 Fender Japan ST72 '72 Stratocaster Reissue - A-Serial, MIJ Fujigen This is a Fender Japan ST72, the '72 Stratocaster reissue, crafted at the Fujigen factory during the mid-1980s Made in Japan era. The neck plate is stamped with serial A034838, which places this guitar in the 1985-1986 MIJ period, and the heel of the neck carries the "MADE IN JAPAN" stamp. The ST72 recreates the classic 1970s Stratocaster look: the large headstock with the "ORIGINAL Contour Body" decal, a bullet truss rod adjuster, and a 3-bolt neck plate with micro-tilt.
