Seller's description

Note: READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION. Truss rod is maxxed out. If it doesn't sell soon, I'll put a spacer on it myself and take the price back up to $2k. This is a great deal as-is.This is a beautiful vintage American Precision Bass, born on January 3, 1984. Sienna Sunburst finish in super condition with excellent rosewood board and perfect frets. Plays like a dream. Weight = 9lbs, 3oz.ConditionCosmetically, the bass is in excellent plus condition. No dings on the body. Only marks you find are some indents on the back of the neck which you can feel with your hand (see pics). Frets are great. Pots and pickups replaced. They may be Fender "original 62" or "Custom Shop 62" pickups.Sound and PlayabilityThe bass plays great all around the neck. Electronics sound amazing. A lot of fun to play. In setting up the bass, with medium gauge strings I have the action at .090" at the 12th fret and very mild relief of .007". To achieve this relief I needed to tighten the truss rod as far as it would go. I did not engage the Micro-Tilt adjustment at all. Perhaps in the future someone may wish to use a spacer to get more out of the truss rod, but it has set up just fine as is. NO case. Thanks!InternationalPlease note, on Reverb, I ship to USA and Canada only. On eBay I ship worldwide with eBay International, which has the best pricing. cheersRecent Review:"Guitar was packed perfectly for shipping. Everything arrived exactly as described. Thank you so much!"Guitar SetupSetup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present.
