Up for sale is a Fender Japan JB62 '62 Reissue Jazz Bass finished in Black.Built at the renowned Fujigen factory during the mid-1980s, this Made in Japan Jazz Bass is part of the highly regarded first generation of Fender Japan instruments. These early JB62 models have earned an outstanding reputation for their build quality, comfortable neck profiles, and classic vintage-inspired Jazz Bass tone.We recently cleaned, restrung, and professionally set the bass up here at the shop. It plays exceptionally well with smooth action, excellent fretwork, and electronics that function exactly as they should.Overall condition is very good. The frets show only minimal wear and have plenty of life remaining. The finish displays normal scratches and cosmetic wear from use, along with two areas where the black finish has been sanded through to the wood. These spots are purely cosmetic and do not affect the structural integrity or playability of the instrument.
