Up for sale, a 1980 Fender Telecaster Deluxe in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and all hangtags. 100% original save for the nut and saddle screws (both included), this is one of the very last Telecaster Deluxes produced before the model was discontinued in '81. This Tele weighs 9lbs 5oz, and tonewoods include an ash body and one-piece maple neck, loaded with Seth Lover-designed CuNiFe Wide Range humbuckers. As the architect of the original Gibson "PAF" humbucker, Seth Lover subsequently made his mark on Fender with the Wide Range pickup, a unique humbucker constructed using individually slotted and threaded pole pieces made from CuNiFe (copper-nickel-iron) magnets. The result is a pickup that has Fender's signature sparkle and cut, yet with the added warmth and fullness of a humbucker. This is a punchy, powerful-sounding instrument with a clear, percussive quality in every pickup position and the midrange presence of ash as a tonewood. This Telecaster Deluxe benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
