Reverty Used Guitars Japan — every instrument inspected, set up, and played before listing. 1980-1982 Tokai Silver Star SS-36 - Olympic White - Made in Japan This is a Tokai Silver Star SS-36 built in Japan in the early 1980s. It has the large 70s-style headstock, a headstock-end bullet truss rod and a 3-bolt neck plate. The Silver Star line was Tokai's take on the 70s-era Strat, and these guitars are well regarded among Japan Vintage collectors and players. The headstock carries a 7-digit serial number. The first digit has worn away on the decal. Tokai's 7-digit serial system puts this guitar between 1980 and 1982.
