Seller's description

This is the original Princeton, not a Princeton Reverb. With its straightforward 12-watt, 1x10” configuration, these amps have become particularly popular with players and recording engineers looking for the direct, responsive Fender sound in a compact package. The Princeton’s 6V6-powered circuit delivers beautiful Fender cleans at manageable volume, with a natural breakup when pushed. It’s an outstanding recording amplifier, which is what I used it for over a decade, and an excellent pedal platform, with plenty of character despite its modest power rating.Specifications1973 Fender PrincetonSilverfaceNon-Reverb model12 watts1x10” speaker configuration2 inputs2× 6V6 power tubes5U4GB rectifier12AX7 / 7025 preamp tubesTremoloHand-wired eyelet-board constructionMade in USAConditionThis is a vintage amplifier showing the normal cosmetic signs of more than 50 years of use. The cabinet, grille cloth, faceplate, chassis and hardware present very well for its age.The amplifier has been photographed extensively, including the chassis, tube chart, transformers and internal electronics so that prospective buyers can evaluate its condition and originality for themselves. The necessary electrolytic capacitors have been professionally replaced over the years, but the amp maintains most all of its original components otherwise. Please see all photos carefully for the exact cosmetic and electronic condition.I am the second owner. I bought this from the original owner, back in 2012, who's mother bought this new in 1973. I believe it has its original tubes as well. The death cap has been removed and it still has its original speaker and red-plug power cable. Please refer to pictures and ask any questions. Thanks
