Up for sale, a 1969 Fender Telecaster Thinline in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This rare and collectable first version of the classic "Thinline" model was only made from late 1968-mid 1971, and this particular example features an ash body (with alder and mahogany also offered). Lightweight at 7lbs 3oz and extremely resonant acoustically, this Tele Thinline has a clear and powerful tone with a percussive cut and twang that will satisfy the most discerning Nashville pickers. The era-correct pickup pair produces an array of classic Fender tones, with the clarity, snap and twang expected in the bridge position, and a bit of extra roundness and kick from the semi-hollow ash construction. This Telecaster Thinline benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with low action, accurate intonation and fresh 10-46 strings.
