From the listing
Up for sale is an exceptional, collector-grade 1969 Fender Telecaster in outstanding original condition. This instrument has been fully disassembled, inspected, and authenticated, confirming complete structural and electronic integrity with matching factory numbers throughout. My aunt purchased this in 1970, played it a couple of times and then left it in her closet unplayed until she gave it to me in 1993. I'm an acoustic guitar player. I played it less than 2 hours over the 33 years I've owned it. It is in incredibly clean, excellent plus condition. Authentication & Factory Markings: Neck Stamp: Clear, factory-original 3MAY69B stamp on the neck heel (May 1969, B-width neck). Body & Neck Match: Matching factory batch/router stamp (399) present on both the neck heel and inside the factory-correct body route, verifying the neck and body have been together since leaving the Fullerton factory. Serial Number: 254806 on the original F-style 4-bolt neck plate (correct range for late 1968 / 1969). Electronics & Cavities: All body routes are 100% original, untouched, and unrouted with no modifications. Original pickups, wiring, pots, and 3-way switch. Condition & Aesthetics: Finish: 100% original finish showing minimal wear for a 57-year-old instrument. The body is nearly immaculate with only a couple of tiny edge chips and very light rubbing on the back from normal play. Hardware: Includes the original, rare chrome "ashtray" bridge cover in pristine condition, as well as the original pickguard, tuners, bridge, and control assembly. Neck & Truss Rod: The maple neck features its original finish and frets. The truss rod nut turns smoothly and freely in both directions with clean, un-stripped threads. The neck sits very straight; action is currently set comfortable and buzz-free via the original bridge saddles. Shipping & Packaging: Shipping Services: Ships fully insured with direct signature required upon delivery. Shipping price is included in the Continental USA. Included:
