Seller's description

The 1969 Fender Precision Bass in Sunburst exemplifies the classic build quality and timeless design that helped establish the Precision as the benchmark for electric basses. Crafted in the United States during Fender’s CBS era, this instrument features the traditional alder body with a beautifully aged three‑tone sunburst finish and early Fender appointments that make it both a collectible and highly playable vintage bass. Built with a one‑piece maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, the 1968 P‑Bass offers a warm, balanced tone with punchy lows and clear mids, underpinned by the legendary split‑coil pickup that defined the Precision Bass sound. Its simple yet effective controls and robust hardware ensure reliability gig after gig. This vintage Precision Bass captures the essence of Fender’s early electrified low end — rooted in rock, blues, and soul history — and remains a desirable instrument for players and collectors alike.
