Seller's description

The Cadillac of the ES range here. Here we have a late 1960s ES-355 in the seldom seen 'Sparkling Burgundy Metallic' finish. Custom appointments, ebony fingerboard, pearloid block inlays. Nice medium chunky neck which is very comfortable in the hand. Very straight example. Replaced pickguard. Replaced neck position pickup ring. A pair of lovely sounding 'Patent Stamp' pickups. All 6 positions of varitone switch functional and guitar is still wired in stereo. The finish to the rear of the neck is long gone. Lovely patina across the entirety of the guitar, finish crazing present in the nitro lacquer throughout. Badass with a capital B. This is one darn fine piece of Gibson history. Made in USA Serial 309246
