Lovely '59 Electrical Spanish model one hundred seventy five. Frankly an unreal guitar that I, the writer, can scarcely believe exists. Wonderful. Absolutely worth selling a moderately priced car for. A benchmark for jazz tone and performance that remains the standard to this day! For most players, though, the ES-175 fully reached its potential a decade later in 1959, when the P.A.F humbucking pickups that had replaced its original P-90s in 1957 were joined by a new rounded, ultra-comfortable neck profile." ... so what you're looking at here is a super clean example of a P.A.F loaded ES-175, with the first year of the iconic neck profile. This well-maintained instrument has seen a pro refret. Machine heads and control knobs are reproductions, pots original. Includes a later (1960s) Gibson case. Gorgeous thing.
