Seller's description

Check out this amazing Fender 5A3 TV Front Deluxe.Few amplifiers capture the magic of early Fender tone quite like the 5A3 Deluxe. Produced during the golden age of tweed amplifiers, the 5A3 occupies a special place in Fender history, delivering rich cleans, incredible touch sensitivity, and the warm, harmonically complex overdrive that has inspired generations of players. Powered by a pair of 6V6 output tubes, the 5A3 produces a remarkably dynamic and responsive playing experience. Clean tones are full, woody, and articulate, while turning the volume up reveals the smooth compression and singing sustain that made these early tweed circuits legendary. Every note seems to bloom from the speaker with an organic, three-dimensional quality that modern amplifiers rarely replicate. Whether paired with a Telecaster, Stratocaster, Les Paul, or hollowbody, the 5A3 responds beautifully to a player's touch and guitar volume controls. It excels in studio environments and smaller stages where its rich character and natural overdrive can be fully appreciated. For many players and collectors, the 5A3 represents one of the purest expressions of Leo Fender's early amplifier designs—a simple, elegant circuit that remains as inspiring today as it was over seventy years ago. This amp is in overall good condition with its original tolex showing some wear. The output transformer has been replaced but the power transformer is original. It has had the needed capacitor's and resistors changed as well as a 3 prong cable installed. The original Jensen P12B alnico speaker sounds amazing and dates to 1951.
