From the listing
Classic War era Gibson LG-2. There is a reason why these guitars are so revered, really sweet sweet sounding. Being a war time era instrument there is no metal truss rod, owing to metal being used to make tanks, guns, bombs, god knows what. The neck was more than likely reinforced with a piece of maple through it. Does the lack of truss add to the tone..I can't be sure but having a lovely feeling handful of a neck certainly feels good in your left hand. Banner logo on the headstock, rare Mahogany top. This guitar has had some small necessary repairs. I'd guess at one point a larger bridge was installed, running now with a smaller more vintage correct bridge now. Machineheads are original. Back and sides are the original finish, but the top has been refinished. Also a cleated repaired crack on the top. I won't say this guitar is a cannon, considering the time period that is was born in, but if you are digging on a authentic 40s Gibson acoustic, this has the goods. Comes with a hardshell case and Made in the USA.
