Fender Telecaster TL-72 Crafted in Japan 1993 – Butterscotch Blonde with Gigbag This 1993 Fender Telecaster TL-72 Crafted in Japan delivers the classic ‘70s-style Telecaster experience with the precision and build quality of Fender’s Japanese production era. Finished in Butterscotch Blonde, this model captures the iconic vintage aesthetic while offering excellent playability and reliability. Known for its traditional Telecaster voice, this TL-72 produces that unmistakable bright, punchy “twang” with strong midrange presence and crisp articulation—perfect for country, rock, indie, and classic clean tones. The guitar has been professionally set up for smooth, low action and comfortable playability across the neck. Cosmetically, the instrument shows light surface wear consistent with age, including minor dings and a very small clear coat chip near the 19th fret that does not affect playability or feel.
