Really good example of this Japanese made artist signature model which is rare outside of Japan. The spec is tried and tested on stage by Jean Ken Johnny, little known outside of the country. The guitar has had a full service and set-up with 10s including fret levelling and dressing. Work done by Single Coil in Leeds, tech for Bill Nelson and Richard Hawley amongst others. Plenty left in the frets as can be seen. As ever would recommend a set up to individual requirements but the guitar is playing great with some absolutely stunning tones from the higher output pups compared to a standard Jag. Proprietary, Japanese-manufactured Fender soapbar single-coil pickup - stunning!!!!Practical modern hardware upgrades (Tune-O-Matic, Buzz Stop, and locking/drop tuners) fix traditional offset tuning and string-slippage issues.Simplified, user-friendly control configuration."On this guitar's neck position, the P-90 provides a very specific tonal advantage for modern rock: The "Missing Link" Tone: It sits perfectly in the middle ground between a standard single-coil and a humbucker. It has more output, bass thump, and midrange grit than a standard Jaguar pickup, but retains a glassier, more articulate top-end clarity than a humbucker. Exceptional With High Gain: When pushed into overdrive, a neck P-90 doesn't get muddy or "bo
