Seller's description

Fender Custom Shop 65 Stratocaster Journeyman Champagne Sparkle The builders at the Fender Custom Shop are the very best in their field, and that passion, knowledge, and craftsmanship is evident in every guitar that leaves the Custom Shop. This '65 Stratocaster has such meticulous attention to detail, both in construction and finish, that it almost feels like a real vintage Strat! The alder body is coated with a special Journeyman Champagne Sparkle color. But beneath this beautiful finish lies a reliable, perfectly tuned instrument with great specifications that guarantee the comfortable and trouble-free playing experience that a modern guitarist needs. The neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and a ‘65 Strat 'C’ neck profile. The three hand-wound '65 Strat single coil pickups are based on the classic design from the 1960s. Their clear tones take you back in time, where you can switch between the many genres in which the Strat has played a crucial role in the hands of countless great musicians.A high-quality quarter-sawn maple neck. A quarter-sawn maple neck is a guitar neck made from maple wood that has been sawn lengthwise, so that the wood's annual rings are perpendicular to the surface, resulting in a stable and aesthetically pleasing piece of wood with a straight grain and a clear ‘book-match’ when opened.A Journeyman relic means subtle aging, not heavily damaged, but with clear signs of use as if the guitar has been played carefully for 20–30 years.Check out this beautiful Fender Custom Shop 65 Stratocaster and more Custom Shop guitars in our boutique space at our Amsterdam branch.
