It is currently strung with flatwounds. All parts are original except the bridge cover and thumb rest are recent replacements. No pickup coverThis bass has recently enjoyed the famous Subway Setup and is playing great with very low action and no buzzes.A real tone machineIt ships in a more recent Fender hard case from the '80s.
